Code snippets & macros, a place to post just snippets (not complex projects) since we all have many rags and it will be great to share with others.

PhoBos, you have much more complex idea, but I like it.
I haven't experience with mySQL, but I hope that SQL search engine will help to find usefull snippets. Where do you plan to save them? What about security? Coz db - target to be hacked.
anyway I really like idea of free open snippets DB with easy access.
btw, any ideas how to store it locally?

these all snippets should be sorted carefully to not became to a mess. also this idea was died many times on many forums, so, we should collect some and then make a decision depending on activity and amount.

I never use it within an asm proggy. Seems to be quite easy thought wink.gif

I'm owning a server and can have a mysql db for this use. I currently thinking of
the asm "local" implementation. Any ideas are welcome wink.gif
I think that those global snippets should NOT be save locally automatically and more, i don't know if there have to be shown in the Code library treeview.....
They could be searched with a simple dialog and added to the local library if the user want them...
To publish a snippet, i'm thinking of a (new ?) dialog to setup all it's properties.(Maybe : Name, Description, Author, Version, Folder, Shortcut, Code ...)

Right !!

right too. I'm not an expert... any idea ?

I guess this could be a great piece of soft smile.gif
I will post here a non-working (offline) version with some dialogs in order to validate the process. What do you say ???
I'm waiting for sugg or comments.

Although I don't have a similar technical experience, I like the idea very much. PhoBos, you can talk to blues (I am sure he knows more), winasm.net can host such a database.
