The subforum idea seems to be the best, since all the "infrastructure" is already there.

Maybe we could add RSS feeds to the board? That way changes in the forum's appearance or even implementation wouldn't break the addin...

yes, but this big zip must be updated as often as possible with all new snippets >> difficult !
An other solution is to set that each reply to the "snippets" sub forum IS a snippet....
More : We could say that the attachment of those replies could be opens from the code lib addin....as a normalized zip file for example....
