I just started to play with the new version of the HiEdit control. Thanks BTW. I noticed that the Find function that I had written didn't work anymore. I tracked it down to the EM_FINDTEXT (WM_USER + 56) message. For some reason this message always returns 0, regardless of what values are used. This message worked like a charm in the previous version. Not a huge deal because the EM_FINDTEXTEX (WM_USER + 79) is available. I switched to the EM_FINDTEXTEX message and now I'm good to go.

This is either a bug, a documentation issue, or something I did wrong (very possible).

Thank you for your consideration.
