Hi,
First thanks for the fast, compact and clean program. I really like it.

But,
I still use the 10 year old Programmers File Editor (PFE) from Alan Philips.
I find the Macro recording and editing capabilities very useful. Any chance of some macro possibilities in Hieditor? I guess it could be done outside of the editor by using Autohotkey, but then I would have to install autohotkey before doing any macro. I prefer portable standalone programs.

Other features I would appretiate are possiblity to save ASCII files in either UNIX or Microsoft to overcome ftp transfer problems (as in PFE above).

Also to have a possibility to save-as UTF-8 (for converting files as can be done in Notepad) would be appreciated.

Thanks,
/Kalle
