Signatures, Avatars, Photos & Links, does the forum not support images for signatures, or am I not using the correct syntax?

Allright Jim! wink.gif

Now how about posting an avatar in your UserCP settings? biggrin.gif

It would be very helpful if you make your avatar 62x62 since it will not display any larger than this, regardless of the size.

Essentailly it would just hog unnecessary hosting space.

As we expand the site and update stuff we are trying to keep things efficient.

Also...

You could always post your fractal as a User Photo in your profile. Again using UserCP.

Photos can be...

398x294pixels. GIF,PNG, or JPG formats please. Thank you.

Once again... Welcome to winasm.net. Antonis will be delighted that you decided to Register as a new member and probably tell you he can already tell you will be an excellent assembler.

Regards,

Alright, thanks. It's set as my user photo. I'll re-size it somehow right after i finish thinking of an idea for a little 62x62 avatar and making it.

Edit: Finished with my avatar, I think the limit in size is 64x64 and not 62x62. Is it really necessary for me to resize my user photo? Making that avatar kind of made me lazy.

Well Jim...

Again here we have a situation where the board accepts anything size wise, but only shows up to a certain size.

If the image is bigger than what can be displayed, naturally we would prefer you make adjustments accordingly to help us save hosting space.

If your image is smaller than displayed limits, no need to do anything but smile. biggrin.gif

Thanks for pointing out the extra 2 pixels. wink.gif

Jim,

Your profile User Photo looks great and is sized perfectly. biggrin.gif

One suggestion...

We do have dial-up and low band width users and I noticed your image did not draw out as it was displaying.

You can correct this by making it an interlaced GIF image and uploading that.

Now if your graphics program has options for interlaced GIF's in terms of connection speed... 28,000bps should work perfectly.

Alright, switched the file format to an interlaced GIF. Cut the file size down by 3.5 times.
