I have had the Doc Watson for a few weeks now and if you remember about a week into playing it she developed a buzz on the lower strings up around the 5th fret and on. I spoke with Gallagher and they have not returned my warranty info yet but they said it does sound like a warranty issue but I would have to pay for shipping both ways to have them look at it. That doesn't sound cool to me so I told them I would have someone in my area look at it. I took it to Billy Penn today,(He came highly recommended) and his initial observation was that the neck was too straight. His plan is to adjust the truss rod to give the neck some curveyness and then sand the saddle down some to compensate for resulting high action. I know this may be impossible to diagnose without having the guitar in your hand but does this sound right?
