I recently installed Visual Studio 2008 Express Edition SP1, which includes ML.exe version 9. I am trying to use this with japheth's Win32Inc .inc files, but the assembler freezes every time I attempt to do so. I've tried making his examples, and also assembling some of my own code, but it freezes every time.
Are japheth's Win32Inc .inc files somehow not compatible with ML.exe 9.0? It works fine for me if I use ML.exe 6.14, but I was interested in trying out the newer version. It is really nice to have an alternative to the MASM32 .inc files. I hope it's possible to use these with ML.exe 9.0.
P.S. I've been out of the game for years, so, I will admit there is a chance I am screwing something up... but as of right now, I have no idea what it could be
