Here is a BETA of EzCaller ID. (v1.0b)

It is an implementation of the Windows Telephony API (v1.4 - v2.0) for the purpose of displaying Caller ID information.

Since this is a tray applet utility...

This example employs the hidden window technique for communicating with TAPI.

When I have some XP user feedback, I will update the thread with sources provided there are no bugs reported.

1.) Your modem must support CALL ID (most do)

2.) You must have the CALLER ID service provided by your telephone carrier.

3.) After obtaining and displaying the incoming CALLER ID... this example will hand the call off to any other TAPI applications that may be running, then reset. ( This is good if you run a call center application. )

Hmm...

Over a half dozen downloads and no feedback...

I do know this runs on XP, but have not had a confirmation that it is detecting Caller ID properly... coder.gif
